A license, a leap, and 2 kids to raise.
As single mom with bills to pay and a mountain to climb, Sherri Banta didn’t just get licensed—she got focused on building something real.
2011
Sherri Banta Group is born in Arroyo Grande, CA.
Out of a small office in Arroyo Grande, Sherri launched her company with one mission: Make financial planning feel human.
Less sales talk and more real talk. She began helping people protect their income, their health, and their peace of mind—without confusing jargon or risky guesses.
2023
Sherri Banta Group moves to the shores of Pismo Beach, CA.
The business grew—and so did the vision. Sherri moved her practice down the road to Pismo Beach to better serve her growing client base.
More space, more sunshine, and a deeper mission:

Rocky River, OH becomes home base #2.
After two decades of serving clients across the country, Sherri opened her second location—this time in Rocky River, Ohio.
